Program Description

Welcome to the Sports Medicine Program.  The student experience at Tri-County Career Center is a unique combination of textbook learning and real world hands-on experiences.  We apply Science, Math and Communication Skills to career opportunities. Our approach to learning challenges students to obtain their very best potential.

The Sports Medicine & Exercise Science prep program is designed to prepare students for a career in health care, sports medicine, fitness, and other related fields. Students will get hands-on training in health and physical fitness that will provide them with a "jump start" for college or a field related career. This course features a college prep curriculum such as Anatomy and Physiology. Students will work on exercise prescription, fitness assessment, health, and physical fitness. Students will also study injury and disease, rehabilitation treatment, and sport and exercise nutrition.
