Diesel/Ag Technology

Program Description

Welcome to the Diesel Ag Technology Program.  The student experience at Tri-County Career Center is a unique combination of textbook learning and real world hands-on experiences.  We apply Science, Math and Communication Skills to career opportunities.  Our approach to learning challenges students to obtain their very best potential.

The Diesel Ag Technology program offers a two-year program for students entering the workforce, in agriculture equipment or heavy equipment maintenance and repair. Today’s technicians not only diagnose and fix mechanical problems, they also must understand and troubleshoot the computer-controlled systems found in diesel engines, power trains and hydraulic systems.  Students gain hands-on skills working on multiple types of diesel engines and equipment.
