Program Description
Welcome to the Criminal Justice Program. The student experience at Tri-County Career Center is a unique combination of textbook learning and real world hands-on experiences. We apply Science, Math and Communication Skills to career opportunities. Our approach to learning challenges students to obtain their very best potential.
Students in this program will receive training and experience needed to: gain employment in the private security sector or with local law enforcement agencies; continue their training at the post-secondary level; or enlist in the armed forces to further develop their career in military police science. Students will develop skills and learn techniques currently used by law enforcement professionals.
The training curriculum is based on OPOTC Peace Officer Basic Training. Upon completion, students should have cultivated the skills, behaviors, and attitudes necessary for a continuous transition toward additional career training or entry-level placement related to the many criminal justice agencies.
